Our Story

Slater Dandy is inspired by the imagination, energy, and creative spirit of children. We are a gender-friendly shop that carries handmade, small-batch, toys,art,gifts and tees of our own design.

Each season we will drop a new collection (sometimes two) that is inspired by new things we discover, and old things we absolutely love.

Some of our most popular toys are our hand-painted living story boxes and our Waldorf-inspired toys and peg
doll sets. Our Christmas and Winter line will include a few new items including a personal favorite, our nesting dolls. Our nesting dolls will be available in several woodland animal varieties as well as in our storybook line. We will also be taking custom orders for the nesting dolls.

In addition to our own small-batch toy designs, Salter Dandy loves to take custom orders for peg dolls, story box sets, and nesting dolls. Just use the contact form or email with your request.

While some of our toys are ready-to-ship, many are painted to order. Please allow up to two weeks for made to order items to ship after ordering. Ready-to-ship items will usually ship within 1-2 days after you place your order.
